Electro-magnetic compatibility

In 2011, iEnergytech with the aid of a highly experience and qualified technical consultant carried out tests on various inverter brands.

Background: our customer was using a Latronics inverter in his residential PV system and this was causing electromagnetic interference in his HF radio-communications system.

A Spectrum analyser was used and with the aid of an inductive loop, EMD (electromagnetic disturbance) from inverters was measured.

This information was used at iEnergytech to select its inverter range and today, other than two residential cases, we can proudly that none of our installations have caused electromagnetic interference in the appliances and equipment of our customers.

Note 1 to entry: In 2016, iEnergytech experience EMI with another brand of inverter; this inverter brand too was ruled out from iEnergytech product listing.
